Steel City Junction Series: Pine Junction, Gary, IN. 10-20-09.

Class was canceled today and for the best. Early morning light was great for Eastbounds. Everything good seemed to be going that way too.

I got much more than I expected when I saw this appear down by the EJ&E bridge. What looked like another BNSF ACe turned out to be a KCS Southern Belle. With fall at it's height, the power and multi-colored containers mix nicely with the surrounding foliage.

WOW, I followed that Amtrak 371 to work that day between Grandville and Hudsonville, MI. How ironic.... And, it left Grand Rapids ON TIME!? Good footage on nice fall days, look forward to your winter stuff in Chicago! DO IT!!!
