Well either the Apostles and the word are wrong or your church. Acts 2-22 shows every baptism in the name(Singular) of Jesus. The name of the father is Jesus. John 5:43 The son was called Jesus Mat1:21 And the Holy Ghost came in that name John14:26. No other name saves Acts 4:12 No other has any power Mat28:18 No other is commanded for all to include baptism and the word spoken over it Col 3:17 Read Jude verse 25/1Cr1:24 No other has wisdom. Matt7:21-27 warns those who do not obey the bad result

Does Matthew 28:19 not say, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"?

Unless those baptized did it biblically,they got wet in vain.Many teach it is an outward sign of an inward happening- A Lie. Jesus our example in all,walked 70 miles to do it.And afterwards the Holy Spirit lit upon him in Dove form.Read Rom6:4 & Col2:12.You do not have the spirit of God without his grace (At Calvary) and your faith, and repentace, applied correctly!Every baptism recorded from Acts chapters 2-22 was in the Lord Jesus Christ.Justin Martyr changed the formula to a trinity in 145AD!

I was baptized a few times when i was young, but I didnt know God. I go to the Methodist church now and I have been saved but its against the rules for me to be baptized again =[
