This setup looks absurd compared to the Voile setup... Way to much Sh*t to loose!!!

A snowboard photographer who shall go unnamed brought this set up out on a fairly arduous trip. The pins at both toe hinges broke a couple of miles in. The mating system for board mode was very flexy and if you need the heel lifter you have to unstrap. Don't lose your crampons or heel lifters or you're screwed. He was lucky we were able to jerry rig it back together and lucky he wasn't miles out in deep pow. This set up could actually leave you stranded in the back country! Sorry Atomic.

I tried it this weekend in Davos and it worked pretty good..
Hiking up was an ease, getting the board together even so, riding powder was great, but I didn't like it when we got at the lower part of the mountain were there was only 10 cm of freshies on an icy base.. Then you could feel the difference in torsion flex.
