  • Actually did you know that queen victoria inscripted in Catherines grave "The Queen of England" and not to Anne or Jane or etc.

  • personally speeking, i have a strong empathy with katherine as she was his true wife, and to some extent loath anne, but i agree she shouldn't have been executed, for the sake of elizabeth, and even for human life, but Anne was ruthless when it came to katherine. Katherine was like the wronged wife, and Henry did love her, truly, even when she died he did love her, we can see that as according to the Venetian ambassador he cried when he received news of her death and read her last letter.

  • I haven't even watched this series yet, heard it was good, looked up my favourite Queen and Henry's true wife in my eyes... found this... watched this and started crying. Catherine was a remarkable Queen, dignified, faithful and loved by the people. Maria Doyle Kennedy portrayed her beautifully

  • In real life, Katherine was considered to be very attractive. I dislike how they always pick actresses for her that are a lot less appealing than the mistresses and other wives.

  • Katherine of Aragon was the equivalent of Princess Diana back in the day she was a popular and beloved queen who the people admired.

There was no other queen who was as popular as her until Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth.

If Anne Boelyn has not been the mother of Queen Elizabeth should possibly would not have such a name today.

  • @Hattaru true dat

  • @marianamejia I agree, LOL hehehehe.

  • @Hattaru Yes! and it was Henrys only true love. Jane or Anne were a... delight

  • @marianamejia Really!!!, wow I never knew that, what a wonderful Queen, and rightful so, because Catherine was h is true wife, no if ands or buts, it was the truth, puls she was his wife for at least what 20 years right?

  • @fleurgi So do bad girls, I think Katherine's death was a better death, than getting beheaded.

  • She paid such a high price for all the bad luck that fell her way. If Arthur had lived...if her son with Henry had lived...if she hadn't been separated from Mary after Henry divorced her history would have been very, very different. She was burned by the misfortune of an unlucky life.

  • moral of the story. nice girls always finish last
