King's X - It's Love (Solo)

Testing out my new Nikon D90 and Ty Tabor rig. I wish the mic could pickup the live tonality of the Strat Elite but what else can you expect from a camera. I recorded the rhythm and played it back on my PC speakers then played live through my amp speakers and the camera mic is picking up all the sound. Its about as low-tech as it gets.

i just use whatever I have lying around..usually Fender Medium picks.

I know his work well - he helped me get my Ty tone and even references me in one of his videos..though not particuarly positively. lol

After that vid of his, we became e-friends and he pointed me in the right direction gear-wise. The very first result of that communication and gear update is this vid. :)

I couldn't say exactly without a Lab5 in front of you to explain the settings, but my take on it is "nasal". ;)
