@jenzeppelin That would be easy. I've actually just done that; with some cardboard from cereal boxes. They seem quite happy. They're lovely - as I write this they're eating some corn on the cob
@snavenai I used to zip tie the corners of a square of cardboard on the levels...absorbs pee, can be changed regularly with ease and gives them a nice, solid floor.
@chinimasse Aw, I just saw your rat video :-) Yours are cute too. Aren't they fun animals. Thanks for your advice and I must do that, in that case... They have bedding on the floor level, but the upper level is just wire, which I can cover up. Thanks again, Ian
They're really cute! <3 <3 <3 They seem a bit nervous but i'm sure they'll get used to you in no time. Take good care of them! :3 The only thing i would tell you to do is maybe cover the levels with something so they're not always stepping on the bars, i read it can give rats some really bad paw problems when they get older! D:
