Vulnerable Super Sonic in Ice Cap Zone (Sonic 3)

One may think that Super Sonic is invincible, right?

Well, sure he should be, but sometimes Sega forgot to fix a few bugs, you know. So in Sonic 3 for the Genesis if you hit those spikey ice balls in Ice Cap Zone as Super Sonic, you're going to lose your rings anyway.
