Source Recorder Tutorial -TF2-

This is a tutorial on how to use Source Recorder (TF2 as shown in this video). Source Recorder works inside of ANY source game, such as TF2, CSS, HL2, etc. The commands are simple.
"record [filename]" - Starts recording the demo. Replace [filename] with the chosen file. e.g. record sniper would record sniper.demo
"stop" - stops recording the demo.
"startmovie [moviename] avi" - starts recording the filename.avi movie. e.g. startmovie test avi would record test.avi.
"playdemo [demoname]" - replays the demo that you recorded. e.g. playdemo sniper would play back sniper.dem we recorded earlier.

help me please ok i put my demo onto my desktop its called tut.dem i try to drag it into windows movie maker but it says i need the codec any idea how and where i can get it?

@SillyFirecracker You have to follow the entire tutorial to convert the .dem file into a avi file. You can drag that into movie maker.

Enable the console in your options, and then press the "~" key near the top left of your keyboard.
