Battlefield 3 Karkand Expansion MG36 Weapon Glitch

So I just unlocked the MG36 on Battlefield 3. The MG36 is one of the new weapons (on Support class) available to unlock by getting the new Karkand expansion pack.

The MG36 does NOT work on any of the new maps.. It works find on the regular maps that are included with BF3... The MG36 does not work properly on any of the new Karkand expansion maps...

It is super frustrating.. I really was looking forward to using this weapon on the new maps...

I got a Double Kill with that when I discovered the glitch, I was almost in tears I was laughing so hard. When I aim down the sights though, my arms are behind the camera and I'm super zoomed in with no crosshairs. Fucking hilarious.
