Christ saved me from heavy drug addiction/alcoholism along with working a solid 12 step AA/NA program. I've had a few relapses but on the 21st will be 90 days clean and sober. I may have an opportunity to work at the local Rescue Mission. Christ rocks!

Jesus delivered me from alcohol 30 years ago, and haven't drink since, pat Jesus on the back not me! He did the same for you! I couldn't even get a budwiser to my lips, I was drinking every day, Jesus spoke in my heart and told me to pour out the carton of beer that I brought, and that I will never drink alcohol again, and I did! That was 3 days before he save me! God can deliver anyone! I didn't go to AA or had any withdraws! Praise God for saving you and me!

Christians can drink, I am, and I just choose not to, but I could. Jesus drank, changing water into wine, last supper? think about it. You know he did, but obviously he didn't get drunk and do anything stupid

Yes, Christians can drink but may chose not to, but as pointed out by mickwiking1 an alcoholic can't drink, they have to stay away from alcohol totally. If someone is an alcoholic as Alice was then you can't just decide not to drink, it's an addiction like any other addiction
