The extraordinary new film was produced by the National Geographic Society's "Big Cats Initiative" to help conserve these seriously endangered animals. VOA's Zulima Palacio talked to the film's husband-and-wife directors and has this report.

Only when the last tree has been cut down; Only when the last river has been poisoned; Only when the last fish has been caught; Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten. (Native American proverb) join me on facebook 'roar for the asiatic lion'.

I can fully understand hunting animals for food. But trophy hunting is sickening. The only exception I can see where it isn't, is if a species is overpopulated.

Stop hunting ALL animals as trophies and using body parts as aphrodisiacs! Please stop supporting countries that import and export endangered animal skins, bones, ivory, gall bladder, teeth, horns.
Our most magnificent wildlife is being decimated because of human greed and stupidity.
