  • Why does Germany always has to explain itself !!? It's the only country that has admitted and accepted it's guilt in the war (wich is now so long ago!) The only country that has appologized and taken responsibility for the actions of the Nazies. Many countries have committed genocide, war crimes and large killings. Have they appologized,? let alone even admitted their actions? No!!! The japanese never did, The Turks still deny the genocide, Israel commits warcrimes etc.. Fucking Hypocrites !

  • The past is the Past.......

Just take the dam swastica off the middle of the Iron cross, and call it good!

    German Soldiers deserve Proper Recognition!

    what is this non-sense.....

somtimes i dont think its the controvercy thats holding issues like this to the historical past....

i think its a certain group trying to hold the germans down from Progression...

    just let the Germans be...

you have no right to criminalize some one deffending thier own country!

  • @GermanPatriots94 I really feel terrible about germany , being brainwashed into feeling guilty by the leftist media .

How did these brave germans , who on one time took on half of the world , turn into the yellow-belly germans of today.

Hitler and his nazis were a bunch of faggots .

People of 1945 trusting him was purely by mistake

Why do Germans of today be affected by that mistake

  • @Borat911 Unfortunately, there is a deep distrust of the German Armed Forces in the minds of the German population. And not even the population, also in the minds of our politicans. When I told my classmates at school that I would like to join the air force they asked my, whether I would mean it seriously. A high ranked officer of the forces once said: The Bundeswehr is only noticed in a commendable way by the population when somewhere the flood is raising! That statement says everything!

  • @Borat911 The Southeastern United States, those which were in the Confederate States during the so called US Civil War, are still in a position similar to Germany. If you are not familiar with the issue do a Google search on the controversy over the Confederate Flag being displayed at the State Capitol in South Carolina. Slavery was not just in the South and only a small minority of people had any involvement in it, yet Southerners are still stereotyped as racists.

  • @Borat911 I CAN'T AGREE MORE.

  • any soldier who distiinguishes themselves in combat, deserves recognition. i dont care what country they are from, including the so called bad guys. does it mean if we fight another army we are automattically the good guys, dont think so. give recognition where its deserved. ex. british army.

  • @bgrobin66 Starting wars of aggression seems to be an American pastime these days. My question is Why? Our country under several leaders have precipitated actions in the middle east and for what reason? History will show that Obama's administration is the one that got bin Laden. I'm sure that won't set well with some since they will not be able to put that feather in their cap.

  • The Japanese generals towards the end of the war were under public pressure to award some servicemen with bravery awards. "No" was their answer. The reason this was done was because the generals said that it was a soldier's duty to fight and do the best he can everyday(a samurai's way is found in death:The Hagakure). No awards for action were given. There is something to be said for doing one's duty even above & beyond without expectation of an award. Maybe saving a comrade's life?

  • It is high time that the who did what to whom mentality of world war should come to an end. There is not one thing the German soldiers, citizens, government, and others have to apologise for, since none of us had anything to do with it. I lived through WWll and had my share of it. As for not awarding medals to German soldiers for service and bravery is the most asinine, mind set that caused the damned war to begin with. Germany could not forget the treaty of Versaille from WWl.

  • medals should be awarded for bravery in the german military. how dare people think that german soldiers should not receive the highest honour. as an ex brit soldat give the soldiers their due. we are with you!

  • @Borat911

    Blame the jjjeeewwwwsssssss
