Watch David Archuleta (Archie) in High Quality mode. As the American Idol semi finalist, David sang consistently and strongly throughout the competition. His voice is unique, as is that of the finalist. This is my favorite of Archie's performances (although several others are arguably even better). Archie is the youngest finalist in 2008. David Cook (DC) won, yet even the most steadfast fans of DC thought Archie had it nailed down solid, in the final week.

This song is written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, for his theater production of "Phantom of the Opera"
X-factor-294 posted a lot of Archie's vids, and music in HQ (at 405p, 29.97fps, stereo mp3) and in HDTV quality (at 720p, 59.94fps, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround), and mp3 for audio only, on Idolforums.com under the title: X-factor's David Archuleta HDTV videos, High-Definition Big HDTV video links. X-Factor-294 tells ya the size of each vid or audio file in MB.
For comparison, the video of "Think of Me" in HQ size is 36MB, in HDTV size is 333MB, and the music only mp3 version is 4MB. I downloaded the HQ version to save time and the 720x480 window is excellent sharp quality. When I converted to flash FLV the file shrunk to 7MB in original size and only a few k smaller at 320x240 - but much less sharpness to the quality.

X-factor-294 sorts by topic, format and medium, but at least he and numbers each vid and audio file, using the same number for the associated title.

I'm surprised he's doing a female's song because that's usually not allowed. But I don't know how to feel about this. I mean I love David Archuleta, don't get me wrong but, this is just weird. I'm used to the Broadway and real music aspect to this song

<3333 i actually really like this as an original phantom of the opera fan. i like the transition into a male version he did of this song and made it a little more modern. way to go david!

This is beautiful, and seems especially meaningful now that David is leaving music for two years to serve a mission. I will be here waiting for him to get back and give us new music sung in that beautiful voice. Nicest guy ever!

This wasn't even a singing contest. David was never in the bottom 2 and every night he did his thing. And for David freakin Cook to win is bullshit. The reason David Cook won was because fans wanted to see a rock singer win American Idol. And that should have been Chris Daughtry. And the fact that Cook won by 12 million votes makes me believe that music is dead.

@d0nthate0nme - I'm not sure why anyone thinks voters matter ... I mean seriously, do computations and statistical probabilities each week. As for winners, on all these talent shows, winners have NEVER been the MOST popular contestant, what are the odds they'd win every time?
