HAHAHAHAHA!!! Damn! I get more comments about that. I was holding the camera up near my face the entire time, and the mic was picking up all my breathing! Oh well....

That is absolute insanity. And why can't they record the thing with a decent mic? Went bankrupt after buying it I guess!

No, they're not 40 grand . . . . you can't get one for that little any more. The cheapest you'll see them is about 50k but they go for more than that, some for a lot more..

Did I just hear 40 grand? For fuck's sake. And then it gets recorded with a camera mic... Just.... Facepalm

Yet, it doesn't sound nearly as good as a LP through a JCM800 or a plexi.

8'19" "That little bit of grease and smoothness" God almighty, the three chords Doug played there sounded so otherworldly... And the chords on the Gretsch too - simply unbelievable. The lead tones are great, but he's right about the phenomenal string separation. Actually holding the guitar while those sounds are coming out of the amp must be amazing, like "Did I just play that?????" over and over until you finally resign yourself to stop and give the amp back:-) FANTASTIC vid - thanks so much!
