Sometimes grooves are worn in the locking nut clamps (G string was going out of tune in this case) and it might temporarily work to swap the D & G clamp with the E & A clamp.

I love this so much I had to comment twice.. He is the only singer that can imitate diamond dave almost perfectly and doesn't sound liek a complete retard when he sings panama.
