"The Atomic Punks" perform Van Halen classics at the Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara, CA - October 22, 2005. After guitarist Russ Parrish experienced tuning problems with his Floyd Rose tremolo, a Gibson SG was loaned by the opening AC/DC tribute band.

  • floyd roses are bitches when thay dont work

  • Sometimes grooves are worn in the locking nut clamps (G string was going out of tune in this case) and it might temporarily work to swap the D & G clamp with the E & A clamp.

  • Just a funny thought I just had: an SG with floyd rose and Ed's frankenstein paint scheme.

  • An interesting idea...

  • I always thought he had a B&W Wayne Charvel that he used. Backups are always a good idea...

  • He played a black & white frankenstein during the 2002 pro-shot concert in PA.

  • I love this so much I had to comment twice.. He is the only singer that can imitate diamond dave almost perfectly and doesn't sound liek a complete retard when he sings panama.

  • thats old skool!

  • I personally like how the sg cuts through the mix. Sounds great.

  • @RockGuitarist09 yeah but they're better at playing covers. they have no originality.

  • Miss the Punks. But LAME to wear your own band's shirt on stage.

  • STEEL PANTHER!!!!!!!!!

  • Russ' hair & overalls = UNLIKE

  • thiz iz really good here :)

  • He looks more like frank zappa than EVH with the SG

  • It would suck to play just as good as Eddie but not get the fame and fortune.

  • Great job guys!
