He certainly was a serious blues guy and a great talent. Check out the CD box set 'Chicago Is Just That Way' for his recordings with Sonny Boy Williamson (Rice Miller), Walter Horton and Big Maceo. They're fabulous!

@guitarandharp. There were 2!! Just to clarify Sonny Boy Williamson was John Lee Williamson (1914-1948), Sonny Boy Williamson II was Aleck (Rice) Miller (1910-1965)...yeah yeah spot the blues geek!! FYI Keb' Mo' and Clapton both did covers of it. Check them out!
