I agree...Suzuki have the Hayabusa and Kawasaki have the ZX14...Honda have the blackbird, and all yamaha has is the Small R1 =)

dont feel bad gixxer boys, the zx12 against the busa was an unfair match anyways. I mean come on its a kawi for christ sakes. Thats equal to putting 13 babies with birth defects up against 12 adult lions jacked up on steroids and trained to kill on site. Its just not fair. But I bet the busa could kill a zx6 tho

Those models we're the last before the 186mph limiter. They can do about 195mph. He does say the bike was indicating 210mph not going 210mph. Everyone knows the speed indicators are always off on motorcycles.

@brazoon1 well there's no limiter.

here in germany, the speedo stops at 299kph but the revs keep climbing.

I ride a 09 yamaha r1, my dad rides a 2003 XX.

i bought a speedohealer, so the real speed is shown on the speedo and top was 302kph.

but nvm if you go 290kph or 300kph, who cares? it's just awesome and freakin fast!

@DetailCommand ...forgot to say, Doug Meyer (formerly with Muzzy)went 199.xx mph at bonneville with a stock zx12r using nothing but a Muzzy exhaust.
