All modern schools of thought should be taught, and students should be told that they are schools of thought. And I mean all: Keynesian, Monetarist, Austrian, Neo-Classical, Marxist, Institutionalist.. This artificial unification of various theories into a "conventional" economics is ridiculous. There is no single economics, but only many points of view. We should be taught the basis of all these points of view, and judge and choose ourselves what to support.

I know exactly what he means when he says "ironing it out". Some of the topics presented to you in economics take a lot of thinking but when you "iron" them out that aha moment will change your life.

Go to the University of Chicago or Harvard and you'll see young woman are few and far between in economics.

Given the Mises University's overarching rejection of the Bear/Bull explanation of the business cycle and the patriarchy associated with it it should come as no surprise that economics becomes so much more accessible to all demographics.
