  • Wellington HS is in Wellington, FL in Palm Beach County. Thank you for the compliment - I have passed it on to the Band Director. :)

  • The musicianship of this ensemble is amazing, they handled this piece wonderfully, as a bass trombone player, I found myself missing the pedals that were omitted from the low brass statement at the beginning of the piece, but the piece was still wonderfully executed and was pleasure to listen to. :)

  • That,s correct ... Mr Williams considered this his best work, even though Fanfare and Allegro (1954, 1956) was technically more challenging (actually a-playable for a couple of years until he revised it a bit.) Ms Williams, his late wife, wore a charm bracelet, and it had six charms on it, one for six works Mr Williams considered significant. The charm for The Ramparts was the largest.

  • Most college bands would freak out if presented with this piece. You did a masterful job of performing this next to impossible piece!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow we were that good it sounds amazing

  • Where is Wellington HS? You guys did an awesome job with this demanding piece. Did you know the composer considered it his best work?

  • Very good job. Not an easy piece at all.
