"I'm telling you, Rae. Don't start obsessing with him now." Amber warned.
I gave her a look. Obsessing? I wouldn't call annalyzing everything that went on that night obsessed. Okay, maybe a little... but it's NICK JONAS.
"I am not obsessed." I scolded her and she rolled her eyes.
"Don't deny it. Only gonna make it worse." She explained. "I would know. Trust me, once those Jonas boys have you in sight they wont stop going after you, and actually, it's sweet at first. Except they start sending mixed signals. Usually by acting like they have no interest in you, or ignoring you."
"You sound like you speak from experience." I hinted. Her cheeks turned a light pink.
"Well... I've been dealing with Joe for years..."
"Ahhh. The hottie Jonas."
"Shut up."
"You like him!" I teased.
"Do not!" She gasped.
"Comeon Amber, you're 18, not four. Admit it. You're interested in him." I shrugged.
"A little." She hesitated.
"Amber likes Joe! Amber likes Joe!" I sang. I felt her pillow collide with my face.
"Ow."
"Who's the one not acting thier age now, Ms. 17 year old?"
"Well, Amber, seeing as you just hit me with a pillow... I'd have to say you."

I opened my laptop. No new emails, I.M.s, or anything else. At least no new ones that were to my interest. I wasn't in a good mood either. I didn't even get to speak to Rae long enough to get her phone number. Kevin couldn't wait five seconds? He's ruining my life. Ugh.
"Today is the best day of my life." Joe happily sighed as he walked into our room and laid on his bed.
"I'm happy you're having a nice night." I growled.
"Still bummed?" He asked.
"No shit." I spat at him.
"Woah. Somebody's a frumpy grumpy." Joe teased.
"Seriously?" I gave him a look.
"Well I'm going to Ambers for a while. Want to come?" He asked.
"Maybe it will get my mind off things."
