Francis Feeley est Professeur d'Etudes Américaines à l'Universitéde Grenoble depuis l'an 2000. Il est directeur fondateur du "Center for the Advanced Study of American Institutions and Social Movements [CEIMSA]" dont le site web est hébergé par l'Université de Californie-San Diego: http://dimension.ucsd.edu/CEIMSA-IN-EXILE/. Francis Feeley a enseigné l'Histoire Européenne et Américaine pendant 30 ans dans des institutions d'études supérieures, aux États-Unis, en France et dans l'ex Union Soviétique où il enseigna comme "Fulbright Scholar", de 1993 à 1994. . Il publia plus de deux douzaines d'articles traitant de l'histoire sociale Européenne et Américaine et onze ouvrages dont le plus récent s'intitule "War, Resistance, and Counter-Resistance in Modern Times" (Guerres, Résistances et Contre-Résistances Aujourdhui, (2010). Il est membre de l'Association Française d'Études Américaines, et de la Société des Anglicistes de l'Enseignement Supérieur. Il est actuellement affilié avec le centre de recherche : Centre de recherches anglophones (CREA) à l' Université de Paris Ouest à Nanterre, où il est directeur de huit doctorants. Le Professeur Feeley est aussi membre du "Board of Directors of the International Endowment for Democracy" [http://www.iefd.org] dans la ville de New York.

Francis Feeley is professor of American Studies on the faculty at The University of Grenoble, since 2000. He is founding director of the Center for the Advanced Study of American Institutions and Social Movements [CEIMSA], the web site of which is located at The University of California-San Diego : http://dimension.ucsd.edu/CEIMSA-IN-EXILE/. Francis Feeley has taught European and U.S. History for over 30 years at institutions of higher education in the United States, France, and in the Former Soviet Union, where he taught as a Fulbright Scholar in 1993-94. He has published more than two dozen articles on European and American social history and eleven books, the most recent of which is "War, Resistance, and Counter-Resistance in Modern Times" (2010). He is a member of the Association Française d'Etudes Américaines, and the Société des Anglicistes de l'Enseignement Supérieur, and is presently affiliated with the research center, Centre de recherches anglophones (CREA) at the Université de Paris Ouest à Nanterre, where he is directing the theses of eight Ph.D. students. Professor Feeley also serves on the Board of Directors of the International Endowment for Democracy [http://www.iefd.org] in New York City.
