highlights from the Q&A session after richard rushfield's reading at hampshire college, from his new book "don't follow me, i'm lost - a memoir of hampshire college in the twilight of the 80's". the female voice you hear would be mine. we came in late (ahem) and thus didn't hang with or see rr before the "talk" and he didn't know he was calling on "janet" when he pointed at me. in any case, you can't tell from this clip, but nothing has changed at all since the late 80's. we were in a room surrounded by people who would have hated us had they (not) known us (to *really* know us is to love us!!!)
