http://www.tonefactor.com/proddetail.php?prod=DF7 - DigiTech DF-7 Distortion Factory Demo - With the DigiTech DF-7 Distortion Factory Modeling Pedal you can have a satisfying smorgasbord of 7 screaming effects pedals in one stomp box. Distortion pedals are as important to the world of guitar playing as guitar playing is to modern music. So how do you get a whole spectrum of distortion tones? You can spend a fortune on individual stompboxes (and have a pedal board the size of Pennsylvania) or you can put the X-Series DF-7 Distortion Factory to work for you.

Now you can have tones from the Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer, EH Big Muff pi, Pro Co Rat, Metal Zone, and DOD Overdrive/Preamp 250 with a ton of EQ control to shape their sounds the way you want them. That's because the DF-7 features 3 dual concentric tone controls so you can customize each model with High, Mid Freq, Mid, and Low EQ, in addition to Gain and Level. The DF-7 sounds so good because it isn't just pedal models. The sounds modeled are the pedal interacting with the cabinet and tube characteristics of classic amps associated with each pedal. It's this combination that truly distinguishes the DigiTech DF-7 and puts its sounds leagues beyond most distortion stompbox modelers.

  • HELP ME PLEASE!!! =(

I've never had a pedal so this is my first one. I bought DF-7 yesterday and changed 3 batteries already! It kills them in 4 hours. I played for a hour and then turned my amp off. After 3 hours I turned the amp and pedal on and then...nothing! CLEAN channel=(

It works if new battery connected! Please help me! =(

  • @Unknown8875 when youre not using the pedal, UNPLUG the input cable. Thats what seems to be draining your battery.

  • Model 2 DOD Overdrive and Model 5 Boss Metal Zone are the best for my styles of playing. I use this pedal through my rig for various styles of rock. The Metal Zone is good for hair metal leads and newer metal. The DOD Overdrive is good for classic rock and bands like 7 Mary 3. The other distortions aren't bad, but you have to EQ it just right. In my rig, I use a Boss Overdrive SD-1, this pedal (DF-7), a Radial Tone Bone Hot British, and my amp distortion to cover a lot of stuff.

  • @Unknown8875 also buy a 9 volt plugin. you can plug it into the pedal and use that instead of the battery so it wont drain

  • @1metallica1 TL-2 is the one to go for, i have both

  • @MathewAdlerSJC you should checkout the amptweaker tight metal, its pretty brutal

  • @Unknown8875 get an adaptor, bro... If ur an avid pedal user, u'd spend more money in buying batteries than buying one good AC adaptor...

  • Very 90's sounding. Blah.

  • dude thank you ive had this pedal for a couple years now and never spent the time to figure out some good sounds. thanks!!!

  • man im looking for distortions like "Born of Osiris","Lamb Of God","Killswitch Engage",and other Death Styles.

do you recommend this pedal for this kinds of sound?

  • get a power supply. I'm using a digitech Hot Rod - same issue - they munch batteries like their nothin. ps-200r for $17.00 shipped.

  • I have this same pedal :D
