LOL! Sorry jazzbo66zz, but your comments are a bunch of drivel with big words. Just about any instrument can be a solo instrument if played by a talented musician, bass being one of them. It seems to me that you have absolutely no experience playing the bass or else you would show a *wee* bit more respect for what it can do. Besides, all you say is that bass is a rhythm instrument with no reason as to why it can't be a solo instrument. You're basing an argument on empty words.

@lvgordo Normally 6 strings.. After a few shots of vodka, 12 strings.

WTF did I just witness?

@ravenshadevox Cliff Burton is the least likely person I would choose to represent solo bass guitar.

How do you get you heavier strings to shut up when tapping?

@martin10921 I'm using a damper near the nut. You can tie a old sock as dampener or a hair ribbon.

Still have that little fuzz on the last root F#. Jazz bassists look so far down on those kinds of mistakes. If you major in a six string bass, you're probably not aiming for a jazz style, but just having that fuzz, in any music, is amateur playing. Everything else was great. Remember that the last note in every bit of music is the end of the statement, thus it should be the best and cleanest. The final note, or chord, might as well count for 50% of the music.

@DanielProctor775 Thanks for your advice Daniel. Gonna make it better next time. And yes, Jazz is not my main thing. Cheers!
