poor Lucifer has been portrayed as a bad dude/entity in the mainstream.... just another reason to disregard religion and go with spirituality. TRUE SPIRITUALITY! being one with everything. the american Indians really have alot to teacher.

I am a Brahmana priest of the Hindu religion and I can say that Urantia Book tells the same theology, ontology and philosophy as the Vedic religion of India. The theology of the Urantia Book is almost identical to the Vedic Puranas. Urantia Book is not a fraud. The Bible is the fraud and any scholar of religion knows that. An American atheist is hardly in any position to judge the authenticity and authority of Urantia Book. You are way out of your league sir.
The Urantia Book refers to the now deposed chief executive of the Satania sector of our constellation as Lucifer because Lucifer means "light bringer" since was the system sovereign having been a brilliant celestial being with a bright halo surrounding his celestial body. Lucifer is not his name in the heavens. It is a description used by the revelation commission taken from a language of the realm which best describes this now fallen celestial being of high administrative authority.

@Papadaddyvideos No... it's because, like the writer of the Book of Mormon, they writers of the Urantia book didn't know of the error in translation of the Bible. Why would supposedly intelligent being perpetuate a myth. The Urantia Book was supposedly a revelation to ALL of Earth and only a small part of the planet (stuck up know it all westerners) would know who Lucifer is. Lucifer is a nobody to most of the world's peoples... no one, or a being they've never heard of.

@Papadaddyvideos You so want to believe the myth that you'll use any excuse to dodge the truth... but denial is the first stage of a cure. The next stage is anger... go ahead. Let it all out. You've been duped into religion and you've been totally defrauded by the Urantia Book. It's a hoax perpetuated by a psychiatrist who thought he was smarter than other humans... but he wasn't smarter than I am. I'm telling you the truth and you don't want to hear it.

My friend,no offense, but your logic is faulty. You say the UB is a fraud because theword Lucifer doesn't appear inthe original biblical textFirst of all, there are hundreds of ways that the UB doesn't agree with the Bible. So if the Bible is the literal authority of truth, then there's not much truth at all in the UB. Second, what you don't understand is Lucifer isn't the character's actual name, its just a word the authors attached to the character. I doubt we could even say lucifer's real name.

@Tripageo Only a complete idiot would try to connect dots the way you do. The Urantia Book QUOTES... I say again QUOTES Isaiah 14:12 as referring to the being Lucifer... but that is not what the Bible quote is about, at all. And you are right... there isn't a whole lot of truth in the Urantia Book. It was written by Seventh Day Adventists to put a friendly face on Christianity. It's a complete hoax perpetrated by a psychiatrist.

Also the Catholics did not write the Bible. The Bible existed before then.

@Littlehands91 The word "Lucifer" is a direct result of the Catholic Church translation of the Bible by Saint Jerome in the 4th century. The Bibles are a compilation of many writings. The "Old Testament" is, essentially, the Jewish Bible.
