People in America have a great interest in the Stock Market. A 2010 analysis estimates that around 15 million individuals make their own trading decisions but only 5 to 10% are good enough to trade as a way of living and eventually achieving financial freedom. Sadly, 14 plus million individuals end up stifled by the steep learning curve needed to master the trade. Individuals are making really poor trading decisions based on lack of knowledge and the urge to make quick money; there is neither discipline nor commitment.

Well, I have developed a solution: An online Stock Market game "The Trading Cup" targeted to finance and investing classes and trading clubs. The idea is to expose individuals --in the beginning of their productive lives-- to the excitement of real stock market trading, in a hands-on experience, without the risks associated.

The Trading Cup allows students to make decisions based on cooperation and teamwork rather than traditional competition, a simple, yet, radical perspective that accelerates the learning curve. Students will work together within their team but will still compete against other teams while keeping high levels of motivation and interest, and also building up good rivalry among schools.

Imagine yourself as part of a team entering a virtual suit environment within the game--in the "locker room-- just like in sports, a social network solution with chat and video capabilities for students to openly discuss trading strategies, news be coached, and much more! That is a real educational and engaging experience.

Another very cool feature of the Trading Cup is the rewards system implemented. Like in any good competition, teams that achieve a certain level of profitability or teams with the best stock performing in a particular day, and of course the winner of the tournament will receive prizes from our sponsors who will also pay the company for the advertising and media exposure.

I envision during the next 6 months holding the first "Michigan Trading Cup," and, in less than a year, the first ever "National Trading Cup" with massive participation of business schools and top-notch sponsors.

I really believe this business will dramatically change the way people relate to the stock market and I also believe it will help in the reshaping of Michigan's economy and reputation by boosting employment options and by raising the new generation of successful Stock Market traders; individuals making well-informed, objective decisions, achieving financial freedom and helping others in the state in taking full advantage of the opportunities the Stock Market has to offer.

Can't wait to get started!!!
