New 40 meter vertical fed loop in a square configuration up 85 feet is doing a great job for me. The DX are 5-S units plus stronger then the dipole. I used #12 copper stranded, 100 ft of 450 Ohm Ladder into a 4 to 1 remote balun. The rig is a Icom 756 pro with just 100 Watts, and I am busting through the pile ups. I sometimes forget that My amp if off, hi hi. I really would like to make a 40 meter bi-square next.
