Seen through the eyes of child in make-believe, the creators seem to have given soul to the toys. As their stand-off ensues, and The Bad is destroyed, there is the quality of mercy shown by The Good over the poor Ugly. Moreover, instead of persecuting him, The Good shines his light upon him as a sign of enlightenment, in that hopefully The Ugly learns his message. But overall, wonderful work and a great children's story.
