Direct Buy company contest. This was a one day turn-around shoot. I shot about 15 mins worth of footage, edited it, and brought it back in about 4 hours. If your company needs any video or audio production, please contact Gunther Vinson, at vinsonproductions@gmail.com.

I'm not a supporter of the store for the average Joe, but I do get frustrated by comments like yours.

At the club, research your options, compare prices, then order. Yes, you have to wait for delivery (just plan ahead). 99% of appliances manufacturers have a standard 1 year warranty which can be executed by any repair shop, same is if you bought at Sears. After the Warranty is up, you call your own repair shop, same as Sears. We bought 7 appliances and saved our membership.

  • Since I was building a house, I took the risk. Building a $300k house, we bought about $40k worth of stuff from Direct Buy. Based on retail research, we saved $15k, or three times the membership. If you're building, and capable of planning ahead, this is a good deal. If you think you'll recover your membership buying toasters and VCR's over three years, you're a moron. This is not about being swindled. It's about ignorant, impulsive consumers defeating themselves with stupidity. Wake up!

  • I understand it takes 4-12 weeks for your order to arrive. If my refrigerator breaks, do I really want to wait 3 months for a new one!

  • @seattle0002

How long have you been a member?

  • Total, unadulterated SCAM. They will call you 5 times a day, they will never answer any of your questions, they will only pressure you to come to their "presentation" where a pushy salesman will immediately start pressuring you into buying a $5000 membership+ridiculous monthly fees which you can't get out of. STAY AWAY.

  • seattle0002; you forgot to mention the $5000 membership fee that you get pressured into before you go through the hassle of trying to find a bargain price at DB. The above clip just makes me want to puke; the acting is atrocious and downright fraudulent. I see some shill named 'fraaz' has piped in to propagate the lies- must be a DB franchise owner. Just go and google 'directbuy scam' and read THOUSANDS of scam reports that completely refute what fraaz has said. 1 of the Biggest scams going.

  • I have been shopping this way over 16 years and have saved thousands ! We were never "Pressured " into anything .i would love to hear how you know how to buy a sofa cheaper than it cost to make it !Learn a little about the normal distribution method and percentages of retail markup before you start slandering a company that has been around for almost 40 years .The ignorance of your post really doesn't deserve a response but Merry Christmas here is an early present !

  • This company is a rip off. 1) You can buy stuff FAR more cheaply elsewhere. But for example, they'll sell you a "supposedly" $5,000 table for $2,500. I don't want a $2,500 table and I don't believe it ever retailed for $5,000. 2) The clear sign of a scam is high-pressure sales tactics. Go to their free seminars and you'll be pushed into buying membership IMMEDIATELY. If you walk out the door, or want to think about it, you'll pay more money. YOU'RE CROOKS!!! STOP RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!
