IL-2 Sturmovik 4:1 Odds set to Trance

Me and 3 FW-190 buddies and a ME-163 against 4 Spits, 4 F6's, 4 Mustangs, and their bombers. This video is supposed to represent why the Axis had no chance near the end of the war. Better planes cant beat serious outnumbering. Better in full screen

I made a good run before I was shot down. Right off the bat I was hit so I had trouble controlling my plane, especially near the end. I attemtped a crash landing but that failed too.

the crash landing prolly could have worked if you slowed down before extending the flaps - that way they wouldnt jam in the first place. You touched down going waay too fast also I suppose. But great job in the sky!

This was awile ago, but I think I remember not being able to keep level, and losing altitude no matter speed. It was a bitch to keep up. Plus I was just messing around. wanted to see if FRAPS works right.

good job, don't want to sound like a smartass, but pressing shift/F1 will center the gunsight on that model. you can shoot more accurately, and it looks a little better. apologies if u knew that already.

now im bias to the P-51d but its track record over the FW-190 speaks for its self the P-51 owned the 190 period

Oh. Sorry didn't know that :D. And yes the Mk-108 is one powerful bitch! :D. In Pacific Fighters there's a plane called Ki-84c. It has 30 mm cannons on it's wings.

Goddamn when you pull the trigger the whole plane is shaking a little left and right. :D. And when you shoot the ground it makes a small explosion. All other guns just make dust clouds.

The FW 190 could also be fit with the 30mm cannon(MK 108), a weapon used to take down bombers in a couple impacts.

yes, very real simulation. Albeit the skid is not like most people think like slamming on the brakes, but if done properly you will decelerate a considerable amount in a short amount of time. Very tricky Maneuver to do without stalling, many hours in the seat to be able to naturally complete w/o stalling.
