why do you prefer farwall ? a lot of pro player use nearwall (like collignon and pappas)

When I was first learning foosball I had a tough time executing a good wall on the near side, so i tried the far wall, and i felt more natural on the far wall. My brush to the lane on the far wall is very fast so I got used to the far wall. A lot good players pass on the far wall like Tony Spredeman, Louis Cartright, Jeep, Randy Stark, etc.
I also find that it's harder for other people to defend against it.
