Protesting Physiotherapist of Jammu & Kashmir at Jammu on Day 87 - Part 2

PRESS RELEASE DATE: 17-02-2011

Today, JKPA Dharna entered into 87th day. Physiotherapist gathered there at Old Divisional Commissioner Office & raised the Anti-Government slogans. Physiotherapist then organized a rally and started march towards the Civil sectariate with the full strength.

Physiotherapist were stopped at the Mubarak Mandi Gate by Jammu Kashmir Police Cops.

This protest was something unique in its nature when the cops, when the COPS were resisting the protestors. Protestors threw flowers on the cops in response to their powerful men barricade consisting of more than 100 policemen.

The Protest clearly indicate that Police is not enemy of Physiotherapist and the Government is unnecessarily using pressures tactics by misusing police over peaceful protestors, which is of no use.

Mean while it is first time in History when the young protestors have adopted a path of non-violence which was advocated by Mahatama Gandhi. It is really shameful for our democratic Government where Gandhian type of Protests are treated as before Independence, when we were fighting British Government. There is one question, "IT IS TRUE THAT WE ARE STILL NOT INDEPENDENT IN OUR OWN COUNTRY? WHICH IS REPUBLIC & LARGEST DEMOCRACY IN WORLD." It is strange to see that our Democratic Government is not listening to the grievances of the Public.

There may be problems of anything with Government but it can be discussed and can be effectively dealt with. Media Convener Dr. Gagan R Charak said to Media "GOVERNMENT MUST LISTEN TO THE GRIEVIENCES OF THE PEOPLE IF IT IS DEMOCRATIC & PROPEOPLE, THEY HAVE TO PROVE IT NOT VERBALLY BUT PRACTICALLY AMONG THE MASSES AND AT THE GROUND LEVEL"

JKPA has warned the State Government to take up their issue as soon as possible otherwise the resentment among the Physiotherapist may not lead into such a bad circumstances which cannot lead into such a bad circumstances which cannot be reversed by any Government of State or Center.

I am not from your field, but my heart goes with you all people. I just want to advice from the core of my burned heart. As I have said, I am not from your field and maybe I will sound fool by doing that. Anyways, I just want to recommend you to make your own investment so as to make two model Hospitals one in Jammu and one in Srinagar.

Without the help of GOVT, if you can do that it will be slap of Dictators and you people can earn your livelihood by utilizing your degrees.
