Is Pete an Indian Name? Think about it!

Beautiful video, Rediris - Thank you :)
If elders were still respected in main stream society for their wisdom and experience and skills etc instead of being disregarded as a burden to be cast aside into the care of a nursing home or professional carers, in favour of career, money, house, car i.e to live the 'capitalist dream' what a wonderful world we could be living in today

I was in WY summer before last on a family trip. I went into a place to eat that had a buffalo head mounted on the wall. I started to cry. The waitress asked me why I was crying. So I told her of the fate of the NAI as they were broken down and starved by the systematic killing of the buffalo. She who grew up in this place told me she did not know of this history. Yet I from MI a Euro pick face did. SAD very sad indeed. We have to get back to our HISTORY AND FAST TO SURVIVE

keep obeying the tyrant government, and we'll all go the way of the buffalo...they offer captivity or death, but you can make your own offer...freedom or death to tyrants..the spirit of freedom is strong, and it will give you power if you fight with it in your heart...how long will you be treated like subjects to kings? when will you realize that we are men, and not beasts of burden? have you not learned from the past? unite against a united tide of tyranny

I find it really cute when the children in the movie called the luitenant- "LUITENTANT"

This is beautiful ,as is your
Lakota music.I have recently met a Sioux lady and we became great friends within 4 days.I have always admired the Sioux people since i was a 10 years old child.I respect them and their values.
This video brought tears to my eyes, because I was the last Lakota male to go to learn from Grandpa Pete. Petaja Yoha Mani (He Walks with Coals in His Hands.) The song the Lakota Women sings is the one my mother used to sing to use at times and she too has made her journey to the Spirit World.
