Guiding Light May 21st 2008 - Part 2

A drowsy Olivia returns to her room and the phone instantly starts ringing. It's the hospital. She quickly hurries over to see her daughter. A tearful Ava tells her that everything is okay now, but she was cramping badly and bleeding. She was so afraid. "I can't believe I've made such a huge mistake," she cries. She's sure that Bill will never be a father to this baby; he still wants Lizzie and has been chasing after her all day. "Come away with me?" Olivia offers. They can go somewhere else and start afresh with Emma. "We have choices," she reminds her daughter.

In the corridor, Bill thanks Lillian for everything she's done. Lillian insists that this is no joke. He's not laughing. That's good because he rarely seems to take anything serious, "Like my granddaughter," she snipes. He looks in on Ava as she sleeps. After sitting by her side, she wakes up. She's surprised that he isn't at his meeting with Lizzie. "This is where I need to be," he says. She wants to rest. He tells her to get some sleep. "I'm leaving," she informs him. He's startled so she explains that she is starting a new life with her mom; she already knows how he feels and doesn't want to make things more complicated. "No. Ava, move in with me?" he asks. She smiles.

Rafe arrives in Olivia's room. He dumps the cash on her bed. He tells her that the money was Gus' and explains Alan's dream. There are 512 20 dollar bills in the jacket. That money would have stayed hidden if Gus hadn't revealed it to Alan in his dream. It's 10,000 dollars, enough for a downpayment on the house.

Ava goes to see her mother and tells her that she will be moving in with Bill. She suggests that she actually move into the house she bought, it's empty after all. "It does kind of seem like a waste doesn't it?" Olivia admits.

Bill is in a meeting with his lawyers at the office. They prepare as Lizzie and her lawyers file in.
