This video runs a little long, probably the longest video I've done in a while, but it includes bonus stuff at the end (something I've never done before).
This is a review of Murphy's Irish Draught in a can. This is my first review of a canned beer, and since I haven't done a comparison with a bottle, I can't really explain the different.
This beer is very close to a Guinness, dark, slight hints of mocha and some dark chocolate.
There is a slight bitterness upon the first sit, but it mellows out quickly. The mouth feel is nice, the creamy head is nice, and it coats the glass nicely.
From start to finish the beer is great, but drinking it out of the can I get a tinny, kind of metallic taste. The metallic taste reminds me of a Newcastle.
Overall the beer is very nice, light, and creamy and I give this a BIG thumbs up. Great beer.
Glad to see Murphy's praise here. I have read so many pro-Guinness posts. I visit County Cork at least once a year and drink Murphy's over Guinness. If Im in a Beamish pub, I will take it over Murphy's. All 3 have individual characteristics due to the ingredients and prod. methods, and we all have varying palettes, but MY preference is to the cruder, more unrefined taste of Beamish and Murphy's. Guinness still carries the name recognition, that most people stigmatize other stouts as 3rd class.

2:54 what was up with that tongue action? LOL
I found Murphy's to be a lot sweeter than Guinness. I like Beamish the best of the big 3 Irish stouts. Sometimes the head is the best part of these beers.
Man you drank that fast!
