  • Did you record the whole concert?

  • @rideincircles No, I posted everything I have...battery died right after this video.

  • i don't know how people can come on here and expect a boring note for note cover of the original version. they're not trying to one-up Pink Floyd, but they're also not trying to be exactly like them. its a perfect mix of the Flaming Lips' style which has a very modern Pink Floyd influence. Get over yourself, get over classic rock, and learn to appreciate this for what it is. anyone can play what they hear without putting in their own influence. Music is about expression, not emulation.

  • SOOO pumped to experience this set at bonnaroo. should be an unreal show. i dont understand why anyone is pissed at them for doing this. it's a cover, its not beatlemania trying to recreate a performance by the beatles. if you want a note-for-note cover of the tune i suggest you check out The Machine, a really talented pink floyd cover band that plays floyd's music as close to the way floyd recorded their music as ive ever heard performed

  • This is trash! Seven people on that stage, no solo....come on...if ur gonna dot, do it right, dont half ass it!

  • This performance, as well as their album of Moon songs, are beyond incredible. The Flaming Lips did a masterful job.

  • @InUtero1234 how can you say you respect them for not compromising their sound. what sound it's terrible and as for doing better you can't ,so why bother. some things should be left where they are ,out of reach. i like the lips but wayne you need to leave the chems alone. cmon

  • this is cackamundo the sound is fucking gash, the set is half arsed, leave it! and who the fuck is whiny oakie bitch singing along. wawaweewah.

  • I promise, you don't need 6 guitarists. Just no!

  • @1olrocker Maybe they didn't want to perform "new' music after making 12 albums of original stuff. I think its a great idea to pay tribute to PF like this. I respect them for not compromising their sound to try and sound like Floyd. I'd love to hear your take on this song. Please please please show me how you can do better. And making a reference to them being gay leads me to believe you're 13 years old. Your closed-minded music taste, however, leads me to believe you're a burnt-out 65 year old

  • @InUtero1234 If you want to perform new music, perform NEW MUSIC.... WRITE YOUR OWN! If not, DO NOT cover a classic, attempt to call it new, and expect people to like it. This "cover" is complete rubbish. Shit. If I was anywhere near them I'd tell them to STFU or I'd pull the plug on their amps. Flaming Lips...... yeah, there's no doubt a lot of flaming going on in this band.

  • Stoked we are getting this set at DMB Caravan this Summer along with a Summer Camp Stage!!!

  • If anything, I think the Flaming Lips have made Dark Side of the Moon MORE psychedelic in their reinterpretation of it. Hey, more power to them.

  • That bitch needs to STFU! She doesn't even know the words.
