ISAF Coalition Soldier steps on a landmine - **WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT FOR SOME***

This is the first minute of a much longer and more graphic video. (http://youtu.be/GlN1qDoTAp4) From a helmet cam. I have posted the not so graphic (although still will be for some) beginning part here. Coalition soldiers along with the 82nd Airborne Soldiers are in this. This portion of the video shows soldiers working a field of some kind, and one of the ISAF starts to go between two dirt walls and steps on a landmine, the explosion and a short few seconds after that are here. The rest is to graphic for Youtube and they will not allow it. The injured soldier is alive and given medical treatment by the US soldiers and then air lifted out for more advanced treatment.

Also your speakers should be turned to normal or down, it seems quite at first, (its a combat zone) but the explosion will kill your ears if you turn up your speakers or headphones!

jesus.. i just had a medic course with my platoon the last 3 weeks. they showed us this video (real one has about 35mins) and now were also able to supply such wounds.

@TheDevenrocks Yes that was him and yes believe it or not he did. The Army medics and guys were able to stablize him and he was medivaced within 20 minutes of the incident. I may post the whole thing if I can get it accepted by YT as being medically important and not just trying to be overly graphic.

@Angles786 Yep thats right, the Sgt. wanted to be 6 feet from a blast like that and suffer TBI as well as hearing damage. The Videographer the same. Then they wanted to go through 20 minutes of hell trying to save the guys llife. They also wanted to put themselves throguh all that. You obviously have no idea what your talking about. After you have held a freinds leg in your hands trying to keep it attached to him so they can get him to the hospital, then come back and post. You ass..

This is one of the few videos that acurratley potrays what happens when explosives explode.. Almost always a delay in sound and awareness
