@MERSHITEISE No worries love. It's not an easy form of theatre to learn at all. People forget it's not just dance. It is predominantly a form of theatrical expression. Although, as a dancde form it is fascinating.

The reason he's wearing a thong is probably because nusity is not allowed on facebook. He has probably performed many a time naked, as is tradition in the original Butoh form.

Butoh is a form of Japanese Dance theatre to come out after the hiroshima bombimgs. Its has a base set of facial masks that the actor pulls with their own face, and movment styles. It's full name in japanese I can't remeber, but it means dance of darkness. It was a way for the japanese people to heal their psyches using a form of theatrical expression that strips one down to the core. This is me, this is my people, this is my pain. The idea of stripping back involved total nudity.
