  • I like the efforts for quiet hands, I wish the horse was more collected ..... recommand a lot of lunging lessons ... Great job overall . I also wish this horse was bigger , more feed maybe more pasture to get him healthier ... would look even prettier .

  • Thank you. He's a 17 year old 17 Hands Holsteiner, wheezes in hot weather and has been known to grab riders by the leg and put them on the ground. That was also his worst test of the year, but he's fun.

  • It's not fine. If she were paying a respectable trainer, he or she would not have her riding at Second Level, as she is clearly not prepared.

  • The one other thing that bothers me is dress: is this a show? Even if it's a schooling show, and even if coats are waived - the shirt should be tucked in. Your hair should be tucked into your helmet, in a net, or in a bun. Breeches should be light colored or white, and the horse's mane should be braided. I don't want to sound like George Morris, but it is disrespectful to the judges and the volunteers when you put no effort into your appearance.

  • SECOND LEVEL ??? YOU GOT TO BE SHITTING ME . NO SEAT , NO COLLECTION , NO NOTHING ... GO BACK TO TRAINING AND STOP DESTROYING THAT POOR HORSE'S BACK

  • I would suggest you work in the lower levels before you even think about doing second level work. I don't mean to offend you in any way, I'm just trying to give you advice. I think that Hillaryeffinsucks is right, you should take her advice.

  • haha, for real!

  • she looks fine! leave her alone!

    SERIOUSLY!

riders like us PAY for lessons from INSTRUCTORS NOT inexperienced people from the internet

  • Very nice. Im leasing horse who made it to second level dressage.

  • This is a very, very nice horse. He seems very forgiving, and looks like he's got a lot of experience in dressage, as well as talent.

Indeed, you need to sit up, pull your shoulders back, and look up. It is very noticeable, and just sitting up makes you look 100% better.

The horse performs a lovely lengthened trot.

You need to practice sitting that.

On the shoulder in, it is very obvious that you are driving your spurs into him. Stop that.

  • The canter is very much on the forehand. At Second Level, you can't really get away with that. Your scores would improve dramatically if you could get a balanced canter going.

Overall, bring your leg back and your elbows back. He should also be more collected in general during the test, there's a lot of moments where it's kind of iffy. Again, at Second Level, that is not going to be acceptable.
