Bringing home the bacon

...or in this case, rabbit. I watched the vixen head off hunting, and make a half-hearted attempt to chase a full-grown rabbit before disappearing round the corner. Half an hour later she was back, carrying this dead rabbit for her cubs (I think she has two, in the area we know as 'the triangle').

Where I live there are a lot of nuisance animals and I have a shoot on site policy with them except the foxes. The fox would truly have to be a danger for me to put one down (yeah, I'm a wuss).

I don't have that problem with any other animal, including cute and fluffy bunnies (puffy tailed rats)
