Victor Moore is a 10th Degree Black belt, a four time World Champion, was a personal
student of Robert A. Trias and others, one of the first ten Trias International Society
members, and fought all of the champions of the 1960's, most several times, and won
his fair share of the matches.

World championships: 1. 1966 Defeating the all Hawaiian champion in Richmond Virginia.
2. 1968 Defeating Joe Lewis[16] at the World's Fair Karate Championships.
3. 1969 Defeating Mike Stone[13] in Pasadena California for the light heavyweight championship at the world teams championship.
4. 1970 Defeated the legendary Bill "Superfoot" Wallace in for the USKA first professional world championship.

Moore placed in every tournament he competed in from 1965 to 1975 when he retired from competition.

Bruce Lee and Victor Moore demonstrated together at the 1967 Long Beach
International Tournament (Ed Parker). Robert A. Trias selected Moore for the demo.

Bruce Lee told Moore that he was going to throw a straight punch to the face, and all he had to do was to try and block it. Lee took several steps back and asked if Moore was ready, when Moore nodded in affirmation, Lee glided towards him until he was within striking range. He then threw a straight punch directly at Moore's face, and stopped before impact. In eight attempts, Moore failed to block any of the punches.

  • Just promotion for a Bruce Lee film, most likely. I doubt Victor Moore would've allowed himself to be fu-fodder for a Hollywood actor, even if it was Bruce Lee. There's no way Lee is going to lose a fight at his own demonstration, or even take that risk. On the other hand, there's plenty of anecdotal evidence to support claims that Lee was the greatest fighter of all time, and when Lee beat Chuck Norris in the movies, it was as if Bruce Lee had earned the world championship title in reality.

  • @Hypothermia333

Chuck Norris was not even regarded as one of the greatest fighters. He was a point fighting champion, not full contact. They didn't know of full contact fight was before they met Bruce Lee.

  • @BRUCEJJ66 Foolish point. If you are looking a "national championships, at best" and using words like "exaggerated titles", "true world championship". Its seems to be used in a condescending manner and if so, remember Bruce never won any titles so what exactly were you saying about Vic Moore, Chuck Norris & Joe Lewis? You seem to place strong emphasis on titles. By your standards Bruce would be the least of them.

  • @mrtonyd816 yall made some good points, but Rhonaldv Bruce dying young may have added to the sale of his last two movies Enter the Dragon, and Game of Death. Along with hype the media on his short live life but ppl was rocking the Bruce Lee stlye and trying to move like him before he died. ppl knew Bruce was the shit from the moment he stepped on the set of Green Hornet. Bruce dying didn't help him achieve his fame nore legacy, but short changed him on it. he could have been greater.

  • Bruce we miss you

  • @Hypothermia333 You watch too many movie, this is reality.

  • bruce lee is da undisputed chappion of world there is no doubt and everybody admit dis dat is way bruce lee is yet alive in our heart.

  • @BOXINGFANFAN Bruce's only sporting competition fight was during a boxing match in high school (he beat a kid who had been that division's champ for a couple years), but it was his constant streetfights as a teenager that convinced his parents to send him to America; the police in Hong Kong warned them that he might end up in jail if he kept going the way he was. Throughout the rest of his life he fought occasional challengers, 3 of these fights have been verified by multiple witnesses.

  • @BOXINGFANFAN ...boxing is a dinosaur dude...

  • @MrMichael396 ,what do you expect Bas Rutten to say,and BJJ is like wresting, they have to grab to beat you, they would have to get Bruce on the floor, only in their dreams could they choke out Bruce

  • @BRUCEJJ66 good info m8..but is that true?..i hope it is..maybe u can answer this...did bruce lee have any titles or fight for real?

  • @MrMichael396 Cheers..im not a big UFC fan, 2 many boring fights.but i do watch it when the big names r fighting.but i watch all the boxing i can..i know there r boring fights in boxing..in my opinion a good referee can make any fight good, the politics in boxing is mental. wait and c boxing and the UFC in 15 or 20 yrs when the world is in total meltdown MONEY wise. the meltdowns always made boxing better, history has proved that
