Past, present and a future. A trinity of time. I was told the future starts tomorrow 2 days ago and while it happened I was in the present but then is now in the past and the future is not the future anymore and now is not the future and now is not the past but now it is but it is now and now it's not.

Explaining how three can be one in theory is not the problem with the Trinity. Compound unities are a common everday experience. 3 persons, 1 trio. 3 feet, one yard. 11 players, one team.

Its is really just a round about way to describe how some people feel they need to deceive themselves for lack of a better option.

@reslight Try applying it to a yourself... a trinity of mind, body and spirit. Each independently identifies you.

Say someone wants to drink the Nile river but is unable to travel there so you go and fill a bucket from the Nile and bring it to them. They say, "I asked for the Nile!" And you say, "This is as much of the Nile as would fit in the bucket. The river is too big and flows continually."

In the same way, Jesus is as much of God as you can fit in a body and the Holy Spirit is the flow.

@TheTrinityDelusion In a compound unit, the one part of the unit is never equal tto the whole of the unit. Applying the concept of a compound unity to the alleged "triune God" concept would have "God" in three parts, none of which are all of God, but only a part of God.

@callingheyzeus As time is made up three parts, past, present and future, then applying this to the triune God philosophy, you have a part of God is God the Father, but the Father is a not actually "God", but only a part of "God"; then you would have God the Son, who would not be "God", but a part of "God"; and the same with the alleged God the Holy Spirit.
