Nailed it. And that's about all I need to say about that.

Great job! I have the Stropes book as well, and it makes Kottke very accessible (with perserverance). A guitar geek question. You play measure 28 per Stropes' transcription. But on the two versions that Kottke released, as well as the videos of him playing here on Youtube, he plays measures 25, 28, and 30 the same and doesn't use Strope's phasing in 28. What made you stay with Stropes and not Kottke? BTW, I kind like doing the different phrase for 28, but was curious how you chose.

Great song and well done-Kottke rules!

Very nice. I'm an ol' geezer that was turned onto Kottke around 1970 while at Marquette U, a little after the Armadillo album was released. Still a big time favorite and you serve it justice. Glad to see appreciation for the artist. Hope I hear some original compositions from you Sir!

the best interpretation and presentation of this song, I've heard so far. Even much better than the original version played by Leo Kottke himself.
It's not that hectic and much more emotional.

Thanks for a very fine job on one of my Kottke favorite tunes-Keep on picking!

Beautiful flow.
I received the stropes book yesterday along with a bunch of his individual transcriptions earlier this month. I have to say it's some of the best sheet music for guitar I've ever encountered. I never thought I would be playing Kottke but stropes actually makes it possible. I learned "Ants" which is actually pretty easy. This one is impossible though. That thing where you flop your third finger to hammer on... What is up with that? Seriously, Leo. I'm just gonna use my pinky..

@dvmma1 You won't come across any problems using your pinky instead. I believe Leo stopped using the flop years ago and uses his pinky now.
