This is a cover of a cover of Zoot Suit Riot by Cherry Poppin' Daddies. It's Weird Al's "Grapefruit Diet"; another delightful parody. Despite being in the dodgy key of Ab it's a very fun piece with which to do an improvised walking bassline. I tried recording it a different way to see if the bass came through better. Let me know what you think!
P.S. It is me playing the trumpet, but the recording on the original video was done through my camera's microphone and it sounded really bad, so I recorded it through a proper microphone afterwards. Just before any of you point out that it's not exactly in sync with the video!
