Right now I'm on the verge of tears. Owls are my favorite animal, barn owls (Tyto Alba) are my very favorite. They are so graceful, and I can't POSSIBLY see how owls are considered 'the birds of death' in Mexico. I feel like I'm the only one who realises the mystery, grace, love respect and hope that are imbeded in their soles. I would love to work at Caltech and study owls as a biologist. Owls, acctually, are very sentemental. Owls mate for life, and thy won't simply find another mate if theirs

I just saw a wild owl for the first time today and after looking at eachother for awhile I walked away and it attacked me! lol it flew totally silently and cut my head! Respect these birds, don't mess with them or even look at them for long because they will take it as a sign of aggression.

@SuperSandySue becuz they r called the birds of deth is just a myth peepul r just superstitios I <3 owls soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. but that is mexico....reeely in the world natives used to believe that owls bring good luk! dont worry bout it they dont meen that.... they dont like try to kill them actually.... ia agree with u i meen i have an owl . so dont worry :)

dies, they will take such greif, cause they loved that creature, they themselves will stare fixedly at the tree their on, not eat or sleep until they die! Sad! They like people when the people raise them, but you can't leave them with a 'baby sitter'. They WILL attack some people other than the one who brought them up. Owls will even cudle w/ their owners, you MUST have a licence to own one. (weird, i'm 11 if i were 18 I know enough to have a license)
