Pyro's Flamethrower test #2 Can it melt armor?

I'm working on a new battle bot named Pyro. It is a 1 pound fighting robot for the Robo Games tournament. In this video I am testing the flamethrower against a panel of armor off another robot. The armor is 1/16" bullet proof glass very common in the 1 pound fighting division. I'm testing to see if Pyro's flamethrower is hot enough to burn through the sheet of mature.

Thats very cool, Unfortunately flamethrowers are not allowed in UK competitions.

april76301 has a valid point about you sitting there for 6 seconds, most robots wouldn't sit still for that long, I would recommend making it an overhead clamp so then you can hold them thereand torch to your hearts content :)

yes but you waited 6 seconds melting most pepole on the robo games dont just sit there so if you could some how boost your heat bye using g 9h5
