Oh, sorry, my bad...you can get the cartridge for a ridiculously low price now (used) at your local Gamestop. I just bought my DS-10 cartridge there not too long ago for just 9.99. If you can't get the cartridge at your local Gamestop they also have it on Amazon. As a final note, make sure you get the PLUS version. With that version you can link two DS's together and double the sound creative capacity of the DS-10.

It is a Korg DS-10 cartridge that turns the Nintendo DS into a full synthesizer. It mostly a pattern player synth in which you can set up two synth parts and 4 drum parts. It is very basic, but a full synth nonetheless. The only downside is that it doesn't have midi capabilities, but because the DS does have an audio output jack you could effectively use a DAW on a computer to record tracks with it.

I have had it for about 2 months now and it's probably the best 20 bucks I've ever spend on a DS cartridge.
