Please perform the same tests on the Audix OM2. They seem to be rivals and everyone has their opinnion about which is best.

This test was extreme. Does anyone know tipically how old they can get before components deteriorate to noticable audio loss? I have a pair I bought around 1973 - still work great, though the foam desintigrated inside the filter screens.

this mic rocks! i have been using it for the past 3 years and i am really impressed about everything! and you can find it cheap!
you can used ones in ebay for as low as 30£ !!!
