The Butch Dolly Parton would be a more appropriate title.
I wasn't surprised that Dolly's down-home drag queen persona couldn't be emulated by some inner-city dyke, but I was pleasantly surprised by the musicianship. Must be all that fingering practice you've had.

even with the girl clowning like a fool, the beauty of the song still shines through. im not a country music fan, im not a dolly parton fan, but this song is haunting and beautiful, it is one of the finest country songs ever written, and im sure dolly would get a kick out of this version, and the guitar work was lovely.
