I've heard in vintage show car circles that one of these went down with the Andria Doria ship wreck in 1956 from italy to the New York Auto show. A Plainsman and a Northsman. Anybody with info?

Wow, a unique (in the true sense of the word) piece of automotive Americana, and someone says "send it to the crusher"? Aside from the obvious foolishness of this from a practical standpoint, I think it is very sad that some people have absolutely no romance in their souls. Reminds me of the girl who, upon seeing my cherry 1955 Robin's Egg Blue 2 door Ford Customline, could only ask "Couldn't you afford a newer car?" She didn't get to ride in it.

This has to be the Fuglyest wagon sine the Simpsons Canyonero..That roof is an abomination..Those slab sides looked ugly on the '55/56 Lincoln and look even worse on this heap...Send it to the crusher..
